We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that the NJSLA Spring 2026 testing will begin May 4, 2026. These required state tests provide important information for parents, individual students and the school district. The work that your children do in class each day has prepared them for these tests, and additional time will be spent analyzing the results to help improve the educational program as it pertains to New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS).

Below is the NJSLA testing schedule for Grades 3 - 5 in the Edison Township School District this Spring:
Elementary School - NJSLA
ELA/Math: Grades 3-5, May 4, 5 & 7
Science: Grade 5, May 11 & 12
NJSLA Make-ups: Grade 3 -5 - May 6, 8 & 11-15
We encourage you to remind your child that they are well prepared for these assessments. Their teachers have been supporting their learning every day, and this is an opportunity for students to show what they know and can do. Extra studying at home is not necessary—feeling confident, well-rested, and ready to do their best is what matters most. Please feel free to contact your child’s school counselor or principal with any questions.
